OnePlus 6 Face Unlock is a dud that got fooled by a printed photograph

OnePlus 6 made lots of hullabaloo with its Face Unlock feature but it seems that it was all sound and noise but no substance. A twitter user @rikvduijn made a video where tested the efficiency of the device’s face unlock and the result was pathetic and we don’t know if it was even funny! The user asked one of his friends to hold a paper cut of his face and tried unlocking his OnePlus 6 and guess what, it unlocked as if nothing absurd was there! This is actually a threat to all the OnePlus 6 users who bought the device banking on its face unlock. Now it is obvious that this feature on the phone is not at all safe. OnePlus took a note of it and issued a statement where they accepted the failure and asked users to use password/ fingerprint/ PIN for unlocking the device. HILARIOUS!
