I have been following Honor’s journey in India for some time now and trust me, they have been a revelation when it comes to brand building. Unlike other smartphone brands that are high on noise and buzz, Honor works in silence and lets the outcome do the talking. The youth oriented brand has made a mark in India’s smartphone arena by becoming the country’s fastest growing smartphone brand. The immense success of Honor 9i, Honor 7X and Honor 9 Lite established Honor as a name to reckon with. In the past few months, Honor has strengthened its repertoire by adding more phones like Honor 10, Honor 7A, Honor 7C and Honor 9N. All these phones are doing good and garnering positive reviews. The last to join the Honor wagon, Honor Play is already making ripples by going out of stock on the day it was launched! I was following the launch event which started at 11.45AM on 6 th August and ended at 12.30PM. The online sale on Amazon started on the same day from 4PM. So wit...
OnePlus 6 made lots of hullabaloo with its Face Unlock feature but it seems that it was all sound and noise but no substance. A twitter user @rikvduijn made a video where tested the efficiency of the device’s face unlock and the result was pathetic and we don’t know if it was even funny! The user asked one of his friends to hold a paper cut of his face and tried unlocking his OnePlus 6 and guess what, it unlocked as if nothing absurd was there! This is actually a threat to all the OnePlus 6 users who bought the device banking on its face unlock. Now it is obvious that this feature on the phone is not at all safe. OnePlus took a note of it and issued a statement where they accepted the failure and asked users to use password/ fingerprint/ PIN for unlocking the device. HILARIOUS!
Well guys, I got lucky enough to get my hands on the swanky new Honor View 20 before the weekend and I decided to put it to the camera test. The colour shots: B/W shots:
